The Anti- Apartheid Department at the Palestine Liberation Organization welcomes the decision of the Government of South Africa regarding its dual citizens holding Israeli nationality for their participation in the Israeli Occupation Forces
Ramallah- The Anti- discrimination & Apartheid Department at the Palestine Liberation Organization welcomes the decision of the Government of South Africa to prosecute its dual citizens holding the Israeli nationality for their participation in the ongoing Israeli aggression against Gaza Strip and the occupied West Bank.
The Ministry of International Relations and Cooperation of South Africa expressed its deep concern about the reports indicating the involvement of some South African citizens holding the Israeli citizenship in the Israeli occupation forces' vicious war against the occupied Palestinian territories. It affirmed that such actions contribute to violating the international law and committing further crimes, subjecting them to trial in South Africa.
The Anti-Apartheid Department commended South Africa's significant step, especially given the exceptional and challenging circumstances surrounding the Palestinian cause and the ongoing Israeli aggression against Gaza Strip for the past 73 days.

The Anti-Apartheid Department called upon States to prosecute and withdraw the citizenship from the occupation soldiers and settlers holding dual nationalities due to their involvement in the massacres, genocide, and ethnic cleansing in Gaza Strip.
Moreover, the Department highlighted the ferocious campaign by some countries demanding the release of the Israeli prisoners held by the Palestinian resistance in Gaza, claiming their dual nationalities, while overlooking the crimes committed by their citizens in Gaza Strip and the occupied West Bank.
